    • Det. Tommy Sullivan: (about Dr. Charlie Stafford) He's kind of a tool. Why does Megan like him?
Dr. Kate Murphey: Well, she didn't, at first. They butted heads when the C.D.C. sent him in on the Marburg outbreak. But I guess working together bonded them.
Det. Tommy Sullivan: What do you mean, they bonded?
Dr. Kate Murphey: All right, you know how Megan always thinks she's the smartest person in the room? Well, Stafford... challenges her. It makes her raise her game. Women like that.

    • Dr. Ethan Gross: What if the virus has mutated into a more virulent form? I mean, this could be passed as easily as the common cold. I mean, we could be headed towards an I Am Legend post-apocalyptic hell-pocolypse.
Det. Tommy Sullivan: Are you on drugs?
      Dr. Ethan Gross: Allergy medication.

    • Det. Tommy Sullivan: (Megan gives him a rabies vaccine injection) You know, you wanted to see my naked butt, you coulda said yes to the Flyers game.
Dr. Megan Hunt: Why, do you pull your pants down at sporting events?

    • Dr. Megan Hunt: So how'd he get away?
Dr. Ethan Gross: It's like he vanished into thin air.
Det. Tommy Sullivan: Oh, so he's a magical zombie?
