  • Welcome to the Broadside guide at female version of "McHale's Navy" set during World War II, a group of female Naval personnel (WAVES) are assigned to a Pacific Island supply depot which is run by Commander Roger Adrian and Lieutenant Maxwell Trotter. Kathleen Nolan starred as Ltjg. Anne Morgan, a wily female officer in charge of the WAVE detachment, who was frequently at odds with Cdr. Adrian (played by Edward Andrews), an old school Navy man who didn't want women on his base and was always looking for reasons to ship the WAVES out.moreless
