  • Puppet segments: Rexy, Teddy and Gilbert makes treats for each other. When the meals are revealed, theyre disappointed at what they have in front of them: Rexy has something made of grass, Teddy made cupcakes, and Gilbert made something with fish. Teddy and Rexy eventually give in and try each other's, but no one tried Gilberts because it smells bad. "Farmer Caillou" Caillou wants pancakes, but mommy says that they're fresh out of eggs, and suggest that Caillou go borrow some from Mr. Hinkle. Mr. Hinkle obliges, and Caillou's surprised to see brown eggs. Mr. Hinkle explains that these came from his sister's farm. He then asks Caillou if he'd like to visit the farm. Caillou says yes, and hurries home to tell Mommy the news. Later, Caillou goes to the farm, and help Miss. Hinkle bake apple pie. The then goes out and milk cows and ride tractors. Then, he feeds the chicken. At first, the chickens gang up on him. then one escapes and he chases it. When he finds it, he finds that the chicken has laid an egg. Caillou then plays in the barn, gets frightened by a rather fierce cat who was protecting her kitten. He then goes have pie, and later, when he gets home, tells mommy that the eggs are "Chicken fresh". "An Acquired Taste" Caillou's eating over at Sarah's place. He discovers how Chinese people eat, but has a little trouble handling chopsticks. But he learns, and teaches Sarah's family a thing or two about eating Jell-O with chopsticks. --Alternations--- "Caillou Makes Cookies" Lifted from the original series. Caillou was playing with a drum upstairs, then his mom calls him downstairs and tells him to be quiet. Caillou then decides that he's hungry and decides to make cookies. He spills flour and honey all over the place. His mom comes downstairs and helps him clean things up. Then they make cookies. Later, they go on a picnic and Caillou plays with mud. --or-- Caillou hates Vegetables Caillou doesn't want to eat vegetables - he wants cookies instead. Then his grandpa comes over, and they go out for a walk. Along the way, his grandpa shows him various animals and their food. Cut back to the house. They're home, and they're as hungry as bears - because they are pretending to be bears. Caillou eats his vegetables, and he's allowed to some cookies. The end. --- Caillou Grows Carrots Lifted from the original series. Caillou's grandpa is over helping Caillou's mom make a vegetable patch. He gives Caillou a special mission: to grow carrots on the vegetable patch. Caillou wonders where the carrots are, and he's told that he has to plant the seeds and water them to make them grow into carrots. Caillou plants the seeds and gives them water, but nothing sprouts. Caillou is then told it'll take all summer. So, he waits, checking on the carrots every day and chasing off any possible threat to the carrots. Finally, the day to pick the carrots has come. Caillou runs out and check, only to find leaves again. But his grandpa gives those leaves a tug, and out pops some bright red carrots. Later that day, Caillou eats the carrots. And even though he still hates vegetables, he think that the carrots were pretty good. The end.moreless
