This is a reference to The Oprah Winfrey Show, which debuted in 1986. The show, hosted by Oprah Winfrey, is America's longest-running daytime talk show.

  • Hank: It's a novel...it's a short novel, more like a novella. It's a modern day answer to Lolita, really. Lolita is a novel by Russian author Vladimir Nabokov that was published in 1955. The book's main character, Humbert Humbert, is a middle aged man who develops a relationship with a twelve year-old girl.

  • When Charlie catches Marcy with Dani she mentions that they watched Bound. The main characters of Bound are a lesbian couple who try to steal money from the mafia.
