  • Episode Description
  • Caroline's date reads more like a Shakespearean tragedy after she tells a lie to James, an attractive novelist she runs into during her book signing, and must then desperately cover for the fact that she hasn't actually read his novel; Richard tables his own remedy when Julia's job at Remo's is a disaster and he has to replace her as waiter; it's bad fortune for Annie when a fortune cookie leads Charlie to believe they share a recipe for love; and Del inadvertently becomes third party on a honeymoon.moreless

  • Quotes (1)

    • Julia: I will get a job. Richard: Oh Julia, honey, that's very sweet. But I mean, come on, it might take a little while to find a job for somebody with your particular skills. Julia: Ah Richard, don't be silly. I don't have any skills.

    Notes (1)

    • This episode was postponed from the previous week, and displaced the announced episode "Caroline and the Kink." The recurring character of Johnny is strangely absent from this episode, given that Julia is hired as a waitress at Remo's; he is in fact never seen again.

    • Del: (while looking into a book Okay, I don't care what they say. That little bastard Waldo is not in this picture. Where's Waldo? is a series of children's books by Martin Handford which contains pictures full of tiny people doing different funny things. The purpose is to find the well-hidden Waldo in the pictures.
