  • To me, every single episode of Charlie Brown is a classic. Well, it's because the show itself is a classic of all times....

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (2)

    • Marcie: Isn't there an old song that goes, "Over the hills and through the woods to Grandmother's house we go"? Peppermint Patty: Sure, only this is the way it goes. (singing) Over the river and through the woods All (singing): To Grandmother's house we go. The horse knows the way to carry the sleigh through the white and drifted snow. Over the river and through the woods, oh, how the wind does blow! It stings the toes and bites the nose as over the ground we go. Charlie Brown: Well, there's only one thing wrong with that. Linus: What's that, Charlie Brown? Charlie Brown: My grandmother lives in a condominium.

    • Sally: I went down to buy a turkey tree. And all they have are things for Christmas! Charlie Brown: For Christmas? Already?!

    Notes (2)

    • All the voice actors recorded separately, and then their lines were spliced together for the show. That is why the rendition of "Over the River and through the Woods" is so off-key and off-tempo.

    • This episode won an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Children's Programming.

    Trivia (1)

    • Sally: I haven't finished eating all of my Halloween candy!
This may seem confusing because some might say Sally didn't get candy since she waited with Linus for the Great Pumpkin. However, it could have been after another Halloween adventure with Sally that we never get to see, or maybe somebody shared candy with her and we never saw that either.
