Extreme Makeover: World Edition

Trivia, Quotes, Notes and Allusions

Quotes (5)

  • Kyle (after being telepoted to Zankou's cave in the Underworld): Are you an Elder? Zankou (scoffs): Hardly.

  • Kyle: I'm not going to help you. I can't. I won't. I mean, you're demons! Zankou: Yes. Yes we are. Which makes us, for better or worse, fundamental to the grand design. It keeps things in balance. It gives the necessary contrast to all you covet—to all that is good. And therein lies our mutual problem. You see, without the one, there can't be the other. Without evil, there can be no good.

  • Zankou (to Brody, about the sisters): I don't want to harm them. Demon (grinning): At least not yet! (Zankou turns menacingly towards him) I mean... er... we need them to stop the avatars right? Zankou (patting the demon on the head): Remind me why I tolerate you again? Demon: Because you're running low on demons.

  • Avatar Alpha: The needs of the one... must be sacrificed for the good of the many. You'll understand soon. Paige: I did not sign up for this experiment so you could play God!

  • (After Leo paired Piper and Paige, and Phoebe and himself to go look for any demons faking to be asleep) Piper: Why didn't he choose me? You think he's seeing someone else?

Trivia (18)

  • If Beta saw the potion Kyle had then why didn't she just freeze time and take the potion like last time when Kyle almost killed Leo?

  • How come in this episode when Avatar Beta gets killed by the potion she dies instantly? Yet in the episode season 7 episode "There's Something About Leo", Leo doesn't die instantly? Why didn't Beta get that chance?

  • TRIVIA: This is the first time that Leo is shown in an Avatar's robe since he became one in the episode "Someone to Witch Over Me".

  • TRIVIA: In this episode Kyle gets revenge for the murder of his parents. Zankou vanquishes the demons responsible for them in order to get Kyle to help him.

  • When Phoebe is put to sleep by the Avatars and she falls on the couch, her position changes three times. First her left hand is shown to be between her legs, then when the camera switches back, her arm is out-stretched by her side. Finally she is shown with her arm resting on the arm of the chair and Leo never touches her.

  • When Kyle was about to kill Avatar Beta why didn't Paige just orb the potion away from him? Wouldn't she have the sense to know that if Brody was trying to kill an Avatar, the Avatar would try and defend herself and harm Brody, just like she did?

  • Why didn't the Avatars turn the witches into them? It would have strengthened "the collective" - they could turn Leo but not the sisters?

  • TRIVIA: At the end of this episode, both Kyle Brody & Avatar Beta are dead and the Avatars have converted the world into their proposed Utopia. It ends with a "To Be Continued..." on the screen.
