  • Quotes (4)

    • Carla (to Cliff): We don't wanna have to eavesdrop so keep your stupid remarks loud.

    • Diane: I haven't had such a good time since uh.... Sam: That's okay. I know when you stopped having good time, Diane. Diane: It goes without saying I would have had a better time if I had gone with Frasier. Sam: Me too.

    • Diane: What would you call an evening out with a woman when you have absolutely no hope of physical involvement whatsoever? Sam: A first.

    • Coach: Boy Doc, you tell great stories. Frasier: That was Poe. Coach: Don't be modest, it was great.

    Notes (5)

    • Halloween Costumes: Sam is a cowboy, Diane is Alice in Wonderland, Frasier is the Mad Hatter, Coach is a pirate with a parrot, Carla is a prisoner, Norm is Richard Nixon, Cliff is Ponce de Leon, Alan is a clown, Sharon O'Hare is Tinkerbell.

    • Diane dresses as Alice (From Alice in Wonderland). In Homicidal Ham, she remarks on how she played Alice in a college production.

    • Birkett also later supplies the voice of Norm's unseen wife, Vera -- so in effect, we see what Vera really looks like!

    • Music: Moon River, Andy Williams

    • Bernadette Birkett is George Wendt's wife in real life.

    Trivia (1)

    • In this episode, several members of the gang pick on Cliff, mocking his lack of female companionship, and one even asking if anyone even seen Cliff with a woman (Norm and Sam defend Cliff). The gang seem to forget the previous season's episode Little Sister Don't Cha, when Cliff dated Carla's sister. Their relationship wasn't a secret.

    Allusions (1)

    • Frasier: "Quoth the Raven, nevermore..."
Frasier was reciting Edgar Allen Poe's famous poem, The Raven, to the gang.
