  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Notes (5)

    • The title is mislabeled "Double '0' Chipmunks" on the DVD set.

    • This episode was released on Chip 'N' Dale Rescue Rangers Volume Two.

    • This episode marks the first and only time Gadget kisses Dale, but not in a relationship kind of way.

    • The rat villain in this episode looks a lot like Rat Capone except with a different voice and a red trenchcoat.

    • Aside from the "Rubber-Bando" episode, this is perhaps the best example of Dale's Ranger abilities when he really focuses. This episode can also bring a tear to your eye. You'll end up feeling sorry for Dale.

    Trivia (1)

    • When Chip tells Gadget she didn't have to kiss Dale his nose was big and red.

    Allusions (3)

    • Firefox

The Jet Tank, the secret weapon that the evil spy is trying to steal, bears a few resemblances to the Soviet Firefox jet from the 1982 spy thriller Firefox. Both are controlled directly by thoughts from the pilot.

    • Character: Dr. So-So The villain in Dale's spy movie is based on two baddies from the James Bond series: his name is a pun on Dr. No from the book and movie of the same name and he looks like Blofeld, who appeared in several Bond adventures. His Asian sidekick could be a reference to Oddjob, the evil minion from Goldfinger.

    • Double O'Chipmunk: James bond the title could be a reference to 007, James bond's code number
