  • Club Oasis was a simulated nightclub with entertainers in the fields of comedy and music being showcased. Produced and directed by Bud Cole. Announcer Bob LaMond, the hosts changed throughout the first run of the series. Hy Gardner interviewed the performers after their acts. The show alternated weekly with The Polly Bergen Show until May 24th, 1958. On June 7th, 1958 Spike Jones became the permanent star of the show and the title was changed to Club Oasis Starring Spike Jones for eight episodes.moreless
