    Notes (2)

    • Cartoon Network has "Car Broke, Phone Yes" listed as "Car Broke. Phone. Yes?"

    • In "Cowboy Courage," in the scene when Eustace/The Whip breaks the stick horse, there's a place called Dilworth's.

    Trivia (4)

    • In "Car Broke, Phone Yes", at the end of the episode, when Courage manages to make Muriel back, why did not he keep a few of liquid in order to make Eustace nice too?

    • Car Broke, Phone Yes: Look carefully: When Courage is in the kitchen cooking, he is moving the same way Muriel did in "King Ramses' Curse."

    • In "Cowboy Courage," the blue loveseat in the living room is missing.

    • At the start of "Car Broke, Phone Yes," the closet door is seen in the living room. At the end, while Courage is on the rocking chair by Muriel... it's gone.

    Allusions (2)

    • Strangers The aliens in this episode are a parody of the Strangers from Dark City; they wear fedora hats, trench coats, and periodically end a sentence with "yes." Further similarity, that the aliens steal kindness from Muriel and store it as a liquid in a small vial - the same process as the memory extraction from Dark City.

    • Episode Title: Car Broke, Phone Yes The episode's title and the alien's phrase: "Car broke, phone yes?" is an obvious parody of E.T.'s famous saying "E.T. phone home."
