  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (8)

    • Greg: So I ran the blood you found on the gun through CODIS... on my own time... of which I have precious little... Grisssom: Greg, why do you always trail off like that? Greg: Because you make me nervous.

    • Fromansky: Someday, you're going to need me or my buddies at a scene... and wouldn't you know it, we all hit traffic on the way. Grissom: Is that how you do your job, officer? Fromansky: Have a safe night.

    • Grissom: Linens and towels from The Sphere on top of the washing machine, and what I believe to be sheets from the motel inside the dryer. Both positive presumptive for blood. Nick: Think they were being smart taking the sheets, or did they just get off sleeping on 'em? Warrick: Either way, they were sick and dangerous. Grissom: What does that say about whoever killed them?

    • (Grissom watches two guys across the street) Grissom: Are those your guys? Brass: Yeah, they're UC. Grissom: How long they been sitting on the house? Brass: Oh, about the time that Judge Slater didn't sign the first warrant. Grissom: Two undercover guys outside. Two dead bodies inside. Brass: Makes you feel a little paranoid, huh? Grissom: Not paranoid enough.

    • Sara: What tipped you to the ring? Catherine: Jaws. Sara: Peter Benchley's Jaws? Catherine: No, it was in Steven Spielberg's Jaws. They had this mechanical shark named Bruce. And he kept swimming round and round in circles. Sara: How come? Catherine: His dorsal fin was bent. Sara: How did Bruce's fin get bent? Catherine: Same way the kid's ring did. It hit something.

    Trivia (4)

    • We find out that Sam Braun's case was dismissed because of how Catherine found out he is her father.

    • At the end of the episode, Grissom goes to the firing range to to vent some anger. When he pulls back the target, we see that he is a very accurate shooter.

    • Grissom says the title of the episode, All for our country. Grissom (looking down at the seal): All for our country. Brass: That's what he probably told himself.

    • Goof: In the separate case, when Sara is making a template of the grease paint on the inside of the vic's shirt, she doesn't completely outline the number "7". Catherine comes in and Sara asks her what she thinks it is. When the camera goes back to the shirt, the whole 7 is outlined though the cap was on the marker from the point that Catherine came in the room.

    Allusions (4)

    • Episode Title All for Our Country The phrase "All for Our Country" is written on the Nevada State Seal. An impression of part of the seal is the key piece of evidence that leads CSI to the killer.

    • Catherine: No, it was in Steven Spielberg's Jaws. They had this mechanical shark named Bruce. And he kept swimming round and round in circles. The 1975 film Jaws (directed by Steven Spielberg) is about a giant great white shark arrives on the shores of a New England beach resort and wreaks havoc with bloody attacks on swimmers until a part-time sheriff teams up with a marine biologist and an old seafarer to hunt the monster down.

    • Catherine: It's raining man juice. Sara: Hallelujah. The part of chorus goes, "It's raining men! Hallelujah!" The chorus is from "It's Raining Men", by The Pointer Sisters. It's also sung by two women called The Weather Girls and later by Geri Halliwell in a modern version.

    • Witness: He was a regular Bluto. Bluto was the partying character played by John Belushi in the 1978 film Animal House.
