  • Quotes (14)

    • Doc Robbins: Bullets sometimes take a long and winding road before they reach their destination. Nick: Some people, too.

    • (Nick and Riley are trying to un-bend the victim's legs, since they are stuck from rigor, they make a cracking sound as they do) Riley: This reminds me of David's back.

    • (Wendy is piecing back together the broken vase) Langston: Are you tryin' to do my job? Wendy: No... Y-yes, a little. Mandy dusted everything for fingerprints and unfortunately she came up emtpy, but look at this. But I think these fragments, the ones that Garrett found so delicious, I think that they used to be a vase that was actually stolen from the Iraqi National Museum. I think it was smuggled in, like drug dealer style, 'cause basically all you have to do is take an antique vase and wrap it up in cellophane and you fill it with all these little plastic do-dads, and candy and slap and 'Made in China' sticker on there, and that priceless piece of art can just sail through U.S Customs like a Tijuana pinata.

    • Wendy: These are Mesopotamian vases. Circa 700 B.C. These should be in a museum. Langston: Yeah, they're trophies. Collecting's pathological whether you're a rich man or a serial killer.

    • (The victim's cat is licking a broken piece of an ancient pot) Langston: And I thought dogs would eat anything.

    Trivia (1)

    • Goof: Even though Langston has been a CSI only for awhile and Wendy has been in the field only few times, they don't have any of the older CSIs to supervise them in the crime scene. Isn't there a danger that they might make some mistakes because of their lack of experience? It doesn't seem likely that the crime lab, that is supposed to be second best in the country, would take this kinds of risks in a murder investigation.

    Allusions (1)

    • Episode Title: Kill Me If You Can The title of this episode is a reference to the 2002 film Catch Me If You Can that was based on the autobiography of Frank Abagnale, Jr. who used multiple aliases to cash bad checks in 26 countries over the course of 5 years.
