  • Adam gets caught in a bomb blast and wedding bells are in the air for one of our favourite couples. A tear-jerker for me which triggered tissues being pulled heaps of times.

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (22)

    • Mac: You really believe you can save the planet with bombs? Theodore Wicks: I guess we'll find out, huh?

    • Michael Elgers: What do you want, pig? Flack: Good talk.

    • Mac: Allison rented the van, that's how we found her print on the rear view mirror. But she didn't know what it was for, did she? Why involve her in her own father's death? Theodore Wicks: Every member plays a role. Allison was no exception, even if her father was the target.

    • Stella: (To Felix Redman) Peasant farmers in Guiyu, China are paid eight dollars a day to dismantle your circuit board and burn your cathode ray tubes for the very valuable lead inside of them. Eight dollars a day to breathe in certain death.

    • Stella: (To Felix Redman about his daughter) She's a member of the Purists. It's an environmental terrorist organization. Ironic, huh? The other members of her organization found out what you've been doing, and they told Allison they were going to take you out. Even though she knew the truth, your daughter still tried to save you. She probably made it right through the front door when the bomb went off.

    • Beauty's Running Wild, Scars on 45's song depicted in this episode, granted the unsigned band that still hasn't released their debut album over 25,000 hits in the band's website within two days. Ironically, the song wasn't gonna make it to the album and still it unclear if it will.

    Trivia (14)

    • A.J. Buckley gets the pre-credit line for the first time. He did all his stunts in this episode.

    • Four and a half billion pounds of electronic waste are produced in the US every year. 130,000 computers are thrown every day and over a million cell phones.

    • Goof: It is not logical that the eco warrior group would blow up a petrol station, which would be a highly contaminating action, as they were planning to.

    • Goof: Theodore Wicks states that Allison Redman rented the van. However, the rental paper is issued to the name of Michael Elgers, whose signature has been faked. No rental company would allow a woman rent a van using a man's name.

    • Goof: Even though several passersby are recording video tapes before the CSIs start processing the scene, none of those tapes are collected even though they could contain relevant footage to help with the investigation.

    Allusions (6)

    • Theodore Wicks: Genius is one part inspiration... and 99 parts... devastation. This is an allusion to Thomas Edison's famous quote: Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.

    • Mac: In 1970 the Weathermen were using a townhouse in the Village as a bomb factory. Bomb went off accidentally, took the whole place down. Two of their members who were inside walked away. Weren't found for ten years. Flack: Yeah, well, this Felix Redman's no Weatherman. On March 6, 1970 a bomb that was being assembled by members of the Weathermen in the basement of a townhouse at 18 West 11th Street in New York's Greenwich Village exploded killing 3 people, injuring several others and reduced the house to ashes.

    • Stella: Guiyu, China is the e- waste capital of the world. It's like Chernobyl over there. This is a reference to the nuclear radiation escape that occurred in 1986 at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in northern Ukraine, probably the worse in History, that severely affected the city's 15,000 inhabitants and their following generations up to present time.

    • Danny: They're never willing to blow up their own vehicles. They use rentals. Mac: Ramzi Yousef rented a Ryder truck in the '93 Trade Center bombing. On February 26, 1993 a car bomb exploded below Tower One of the World Trace Center, loaded with 1,500 lb (680 kg) of urea nitrate-hydrogen gas. It failed to knock Tower One into Tower Two and bringing both down. Still, 6 people died and 1,042 were injured. Ramzi Yousef was behind the attack.

    • Episode title: Green Piece. It might be an allusion to the Greenpeace Foundation, which campaigns against abusive environmental issues.
