    • Lindsay: I'm sorry. Danny: What? What are you sorry about? Lindsay: You were not supposed to be here. You took my shift.

    • Peyton: Have you seen Mac? Sid: No, have you checked the other side of the building? Peyton: Yeah, I have. Twice. Sid: Well, I imagine he's looking for you, you're looking for him, and you're both circling the building... stay put and he'll find you.

    • Flack: Let's do this. (holding gun in his hand)

    • Gunman: That's a cute toy you got there. Flack: Why don't you come out here and I'll show you how to use it.

    • Danny: There's no way you're gonna make this shot Montana. Lindsay: A Benjamin says I do. (She makes the shot) You owe me $100. Danny: You know what... you're gonna have to wait till pay day. Lindsay: No. You either pay me now, or come up with something better.

    Trivia (16)

    • It is very unrealistic that Stella lifted a unique fingerprint from an elevator button.

    • Despite extolling the virtues of 'safeguarding your prisoner' in the previous episode - and indeed using someone else's mistake in this regard to his own advantage - Mac fails to heed his own advice when strapping one of the gang members to a homemade bomb. Given that this bomb was tripped at the end of the episode, presumably this unarmed prisoner was also killed in the blast. This is true, but in this case we can assume he was more concerned about his own safety than the prisoner's one. When they take care of the prisoner's safety in jail, they already ensure the others' by locking up the prisoner. Here it is very extreme but maybe it seemed to him the only way (even if probably not the right one) to ensure that this prisoner would no longer be dangerous for them (without the need to permanently keep an eye on him), so that they could chase the others guys.

    • Goof: When Flack and Hawkes go into the CSI building and tell the criminals to "put the bags down", Hawkes mouth is not moving correctly to match the dialogue.

    • Goof: When Danny & Lindsay are on the pool table, he uses his left hand to stroke her hair, but when the camera goes back to Lindsay, he's using his right.

    • Goof: In the pool table scene, Danny's dog tags keep moving.

    • Danny: (to hostage takers) You two humps from Clinton just hijacked a crime scene cleanup. Makes me believe that when they went to gentrify Hell's Kitchen they got rid of all the smart guys. Although, some may confuse the reference w/ the tv show Hell's Kitchen, a show on FOX, both Danny's statement and the FOX show reference a neighborhood in Manhattan known as Hell's Kitchen - near Midtown. It used to be a crime-ridden area. Over recent years, it has become gentrified the neighborhood and the rich folks have moved in - meaning the "smart guys" or criminal element is no longer there.

    • The entire episode appears to be an homage to the classic Bruce Willis 1988 action film, Die Hard. It features such set pieces as unlikely people thrust into unexpected heroic roles; the use of a diversion to cover the real crime; the takeover of an office building; the major crime being the breaking into a vault; and even the sending of a dead criminal back in an elevator with a written message scrawled on the body.

    • Episode title: Snow Day. Cocaine is often referred to as "snow". Since the mob is after the cocaine the title could be referring to their siege on the lab. The title could also allude to Lindsay's unexpected day off. In states where snow is common in the winter, schools sometimes have a snow day. When there is too much snow for students to safely go to school, school is canceled and children get a day off.

    • One of the drug lords calls Flack "Serpico" while they're talking over the radio. Serpico is the Al Pacino movie based on the true story of a New York police officer who fights back against corruption in the department.
