  • Danny & Mac Investigate Noah (From Noah's Ark)'s Murder, Stella & Sheldon Investigate The Murder Of A Man In A Cigarette Suit, Stella Tells Mac She's Not HIV Positive.

  • An average episode with two equally irritating cases. The Noah's arc case was touching on the ridiculous and the smoking case was poor even without the preaching - we get it smoking companies are evil!

  • Quotes (12)

    • (Mac, Danny, and Flack walk outside into the tard behind the house. And they find a giant ark with people and animals inside.) Danny: Well if this is Noah's house... Mac: ...then his must be Noah's ark.

    • Stella: It just happened. I was putting a piece of bloody glass into an evidence bag. It was still wet. It just broke, cut me. I had no idea at the time that Emery Gable was HIV positive. Mac: Stella, why didn't you tell me? Stella: I thought I could handle it on my own. I'm scared, Mac, I know there are a lot of people living with AIDS, and I just… I don't think I have the strength to do that. I don't think I'm brave enough to wait for a cure. Mac: What is it you say to me?...(saying in Greek)... You always have the strength, you always have the guts. Stella: (saying sth. in Greek) Mac: If you need to leave work, take some time off... Stella: No. I took a blood test. It came back negative. I'm still in that window. I won't know if I'm HIV positive for another ten weeks. Right now, the only thing keeping me sane is work. Mac: (pulling her into a hug) I'm here for you. Stella: I know. Mac: Alright?

    • Mac: Faith is the foundation of religion.

    • Melodee: He's dead? Danny: Yeah he's dead. Melodee: You sure about that? Danny: Very sure. Melodee: You just made my whole day. No, my year. Danny: Oh, well I'm glad to help.

    • Flack: Well Noah was taking these people for a ride, but it wasn't on the Ark. His flock all tested negative for GSR, and they've asked me if they can get back on the good ship looney tunes before Sunday, because that's when the world's ending. I told them they could re-board when the crime scene's clear, but what I really want to do is throw them all in the shower and then a rubber room. Mac: They're not crazy.

    Trivia (4)

    • Goof: There are safer ways to test smoke from cigarettes other than getting your lab technicians to smoke them for you. One way is to use suction to draw air through the cigarette and to perform the experiment in a fume hood.

    • Sid is married and has two daughters. Sid has a food allergy.

    • Goof: When Stella shows the picture of a victim to a suspect, we see Danny Messer's name signed as the one who took it, when he was nowhere near the case. He was working the Noah's ark case. Not only that, but all the pictures shown have the same tag: Code #: 06-301-14871, and Danny Messer signed as the one who took them.

    • Mac refers to Jim Jones as having convinced his followers (the Jonestown cult in Guyana) to commit mass suicide by drinking cyanide-laced Kool Aid. Jonestown is often called a mass suicide but this is inaccurate. It was actually a murder-suicide because many of the victims were children and babies who were forced to drink the poison. This happened shortly after the murder of a US Congressman and some other people who had come to investigate the cult.

    Allusions (3)

    • Sid: Besides your guy having more facial hair than all three members of ZZ Top combined... Alludes to the rock trio ZZ Top, formed by Billy Gibbons, Dusty Hill and Frank Beard. Ironically, Frank Beard was the only one who didn't have one, while Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill had beards reaching halfway down their chests.

    • Mac: Maybe the killer couldn't get a ticket to ride. Ticket To Ride was one of many hit songs by The Beatles.

    • Mac: And this must be Noah's ark. This is a biblical reference to Noah's Ark.
