    • Interviewer: Let's talk a little more about your followers. What do you think draws them here to you?
Billy: They come because they want to belong. To be a part of the unconditional love, the acceptance that I offer. I offer them my family.
Interviewer: Billy, what do you say to critics who accuse you of preying on individuals at their most vulnerable?
Billy: I don't prey on them. I seek out no one. I hear from every tiny grim corner of the words. It is they are who are seeking. Seeking connection. Which I provide.

    • Skye: (working a cellphone) See, "delete" doesn't mean permanent if you know what you're doing. (Jeff stares) I used to work on a Bruckheimer show.
      Jeff: Ah.

    • Jeff: It's starting to be a thing with us.
Skye: A woman committed suicide right in front of me last night. Kind of want to know what her husband has to say about it.

    • Skye: It's a campus game like... Assassin. (Jeff stares) Elimination. HVZ? Humans vs. Zombies? My friends and I used to play that one.
Jeff: I think you and I had a very different college experience.

    • Marti: Showing your "niece" around set?
Roger: So funny you are, Marti. A delicate mix of self-righteous and judgmental.

    • Skye: Who are we supposed to trust here? The deprogrammer with the rapsheet or the cop that we know is somehow involved with all this?
      Jeff: Maybe neither.

    • Billy: Taking a life is a sacred act. Knowing when and how is one of the most important things you will learn. Killing to eat with respect for the animal is good. Killing anything in vain is not.

    • Terrence: I got to admit, this is a new one, the whole TV show thing. Got under my skin a bit.
      Jeff: Why is that?
Terrence: There's a TV in every home.

    Trivia (1)

    • Annabelle is misspelled "Anabelle" in the end credits.

    Allusions (3)

    • Jeff: It's all very... Jason Bourne.
Referencing the spy first created by Robert Ludlum in the novel The Bourne Identity (1980). The character went on to appear in eight subsequent novels, and was adapted into a TV movie in 1988 starring Richard Chamberlain. The novels were then loosely adapted into a series of movies, starting with The Bourne Identity in 2002.

    • Title:
Referencing L. Frank Baum's The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900) and subsequent movie adaptation in 1939. Dorothy travels to the city of Oz to obtain a way back to Kansas from the Wizard. Accompanying her are the Cowardly Lion (seeking courage), the Scarecrow (seeking brains) and the Tin Man (seeking a heart). The primary refrain from the movie is "We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz."

    • Roger: With this great fame comes great responsibility. I'm paraphrasing, of course.
Referencing the line commonly attributed to the comic book character Spider-Man, created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. The line, as first used in Amazing Fantasy #15, is actually "With great power there must also come great responsibility."
