  • Quotes (13)

    • Daisy: Are you trying to humiliate me? Mason: No, never. It's a token, Daisy, it's a token from me: from my heart... to you, for you. It's something permanent in this bloody world.

    • Mason: You're so beautiful to look at Daisy: And unlucky to know...

    • Mason: Rube tells us to be on the periphery. To keep away from things. To keep our distance from life, our families. George: Yeah? Mason: God it's nonsense. You get close. You get close to everybody that ever meant anything to you. George: Have you been drinking? Mason: Of course, I've bloody been drinking. And it's last call. You've got to drink up while you still can.

    • George: Only the guy superheroes got cool costumes; massive capes and scary masks and stuff. All Wonder Woman got was hooker boots and a bathing suit.

    • Mason: Come on. It's only blood. It's not like it's mine...

    Trivia (7)

    • Featured Deaths: - Female army cadet falls from an assault course obstacle (soul taken by George) - A bus crashes because the driver has had a spliff, driver and many football players killed (souls taken by Roxy) - J.D. is run over (soul taken by Charlie, the Pet Reaper)

    • Among the items at Mason's yard sale are the clown costume from the second season premiere, the parking meter top he stole in season 1, the album he bought from Gideon Jefferies, the Kitchen Guillotine from earlier this season, and other previously seen items.

    • The Sea Turtles football team are the same team represented by the jailed cheerleaders from Episode #24 (Death Defying). The cheerleaders were arrested after the other team attacked the Sea Turtles mascot (who we also meet in this episode).

    • The frog that George anonymously gives her sister to replace J.D. the dog after he's killed appears to be the same type of pet frog owned by the little girl who was her first reap in the train derailment crash. Given how she kept J.D. after his owner's death to give to her, it is likely the same frog.

    • In the scene with George, Crystal and Delores preparing for the going away party, Crystal's chip keeps switching from hand to hand. Also the chip goes from tan to red back to tan again.

    Allusions (1)

    • George: In vino veritas. George quotes Plato's Symposium. The quotation literally translates into "In wine is truth". It means that while drunk people will speak truths that might otherwise never reveal.
