  • Episode Description
  • Role playing at a golf shop, the couple put on fake Southern accents and wind up endearing themselves to a genuine Southerner -- who turns out to be the federal judge before whom Greg must argue a cast the next day. After an evening's panic, he decides to tough it out and wins the case hands down (while mystifying Pete). But he discovers he has succeeded only too well: Judge Harper becomes the couple's best friend and constant companion, and Greg despairs at having to keep up the pretence forever -- especially when the judge comes to meet the entire extended family.moreless

    • Greg: (Looking down his shirt) Honey, why is our address written on my chest in lipstick? Dharma: Well, 'cause when the judge left, you kept running outside naked. I was afraid I was gonna lose you. Greg: Very funny; and you put this stamp on my nipple! Dharma: Oh, no, that's something you came back with!

    • Dharma: You kinda like the judge, too, don't you? Greg: Yeah. It's nice being the son someone never had. I just wish I had an honest relationship with him. Dharma: Well, I mean, if it helps any, you don't exactly have an honest relationship with your real father. Greg: True, and that's working out pretty good.

    • Dharma: He wants to go line dancing next Saturday. Greg: Ok. I'll tell him after. Dharma: Why not before? Greg: Well, I kind of like line dancing.

    • Greg: The drinking age should be raised to 50. Dharma: Poor baby. Here, have some orange juice. Greg: Thank you. Dharma: You don't feel so good, do you? Greg: It feels like a monkey crapped in my skull.

    • Greg: I'm sorry, I just couldn't find the right time to tell him. Dharma: You're right; we were only sitting on that cold rock for how long? Seven hours? Greg: Were you this sarcastic before you met me or is this something I've done? Dharma: A little you, a little your mother.
