    • Earl: There's one member of my family that's still missing. Charlene: Gee, Aunt Pearl is awful far away. Earl: No, it's not Aunt Pearl. Robbie: Well, Cousin Gus is dead. Fran: So is Grandpa Louie. Charlene: We don't have a pet. Robbie: Maybe he means the TV... Ethyl: It's ME, you buffoons, ME!

    • Ethyl: (singing with the radio) Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree, it's been three long years, do you still want me? Earl: (to himself) I'm never gonna make it. Ethyl: If I don't see a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree, I'm gonna get on the bus, forget about us, and put the blame on meeee, if I don't see a yellow ribbon round the old oak treeee. Earl: That's it. Ethyl: Not so fast, there's more. Earl: No there's not, the song just ended. Ethyl: Did not. Earl: Did too! (Earl rips out the car radio and tosses it out the window) Earl: And you'll be next out the window if you don't shut up!

    • (Earl and Ethyl are in the car) Ethel: (hitting Earl with her cane) It's too fast! You're driving too fast! I don't like it when It's too fast! Earl: Will you let me get out of the driveway!

    Notes (2)

    • Ethel is the only living survivor at her high school reunion. Which makes you wonder why exactly they had a reunion to begin with?!
