  • Quotes (8)

    • Earl: I came to take you home, but the guard at the door with the machine gun said that wouldn't be possible, son. Cave elder: He's not your son, he's the king. You have 2 minutes. Earl: I guess I didn't treat you much like a king, huh? You were new, you were my 3rd child and your mother says I should've spent more time with you. But then you became the king and they took you away. I just want you to know that even though all these guys think you're the king because you've got that horn, you will always be my son. Cave elder: Your time is up, touch the horn and be gone. (Earl touches the horn and it breaks, the Cave elders gasp) Earl: Son, the horn, it's falling off! You need the horn to be the king, without the horn you'll just be my son... Baby: Daddy. (Earl removes the horn and picks Baby up to take him home)

    • Robbie: I don't get it. What's the big deal about this cave of old guys? Earl: Terror. Horror. No one ever comes back. I hear they once made a guy bite off his own head.

    • Roy: You know, I don't often let people in on this, but there was one time in my life when I had short little stubby arms. (Earl looks at him incredulously) Roy: Yep, I did. Earl: Roy, you're a tyrannosaurus. Roy: What are you saying? Earl: Nothing.

    • Baby: Say it. Mr. Lizard: We're going to need another Timmy!

    • Fran: Finished your cereal? Baby: No cereal. Juice. Fran: First cereal, then juice. Baby: First juice. Fran: Then cereal? Baby: We'll see. (Fran sighs)

    Allusions (2)

    • Watch Mr. Wizard The TV show that is on as the episode opens, Ask Mister Lizard, is much like the old early morning kids show, Watch Mister Wizard, hosted by Don Herbert. The show taught the basic lessons of science in a fun way.

    • The Golden Child: The title of this episode seems to be a spoof of the 1986 Eddie Murphy film, The Golden Child.
