  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (5)

    • Leela [ high-pitched ]: Will somebody let me out? The Doctor: Ah, a mouse in the wainscotting. Well squeaked, mouse!

    • The Doctor: I don't suppose there's any weapons aboard this mine? Toos: They aren't necessary. The Doctor: They are now.

    • The Doctor: I see, you’re one of those boring maniacs that’s to gloat? You’re going to tell me your plans for running the universe. Dask: No, I’m just going to burn out your brain… very, very slowly.

    • The Doctor: Uvanov, you remind me very strongly of a lady called Marie Antoinette in a long-ago episode of human history called the French Revolution. She wouldn’t listen either, and she ended up losing her head!

    • D84: Please do not throw hands at me.

    Notes (1)

    • The medical name for robophobia, according to the Doctor, is Grimwade's Syndrome - a joke at the expense of production manager Peter Grimwade.

    Trivia (3)

    • Continuity: While the Doctor is patching the communicator into the android's head, he takes off the communicator's top, yet magically it is back on a few seconds later.

    • Continuity From time to time, the "frozen" robots on the command deck can be seen to wobble. The most noticeable is when SV7 is threatening Uvanov over the communicator.

    • Revealing Mistakes Near the beginning of the episode, the Doctor encounters SV7. SV7's eyes are blue in this scene – clearly someone forgot to add the glowing-red-eye CSO that SV7 has only seconds later.
