    Notes (22)

    • The official/original title was, "Bad Hair Day".

    • This episode was meant to be in Season 2.

    • Andrew Sabiston (Diddy's voice actor) and Len Carlson (Klump's) have voiced Nintendo characters before. Andrew did the voice of Yoshi in the Super Mario World cartoon, and Len voiced Ganon and the Moblins in the Legend of Zelda cartoons on the SMB Super Show!

    • This isn't the first time Donkey Kong was in animated form. In 1983, the original Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. arcade games were made into animated cartoons on CBS's Saturday Supercade program.

    • This is actually the very first episode.

    • This was meant to be the second episode

    • This episode is on the Donkey Kong VHS: The Legend of The Crystal Coconut

    • Captain Skurvy and the Krempirates all seem to resemble characters from the Donkey Kong Country 2 videogame. Captain Skurvy greatly resembles Kanon, but with a smaller canon. Mr. Green Kroc looks similar to Klomp (or possibly Kaboing), but without the peg leg, and with grey skin. And Kutlass looks like K. Rool, only with lighter skin colors. His name was based off another enemy from DKC2.

    • Kong Fu is only afraid of the Dark.

    • When the Krempirates convince DK he's one of them, Kutlass and Green Kroc have somehow switched voices. That, or they've possessed each others' bodies.

    • Goof: Captain Scurvy is able to sing a whole pirate ditty without any sign of pain, and yet he can barely talk without suffering as soon as he mentions his toothache.

  • A Decent spin-off of the smash hit SNES game: Donkey kong country, based on the same name, With a little help of a Candanian Animation company, Nelvana. However It would be nice if they bring it back as well.
