  • Henry Flatt, a con man who faked his death a year ago show up and the Dukes try to help him with his problem: Boss Hogg is planning on plowing up an old vetran's cemetary to build a new highway - that would also reveal that Henry was never dead.

    • Audrey Landers is best known for her role as Afton Cooper on Dallas. She would return in the final season's No More Mr. Nice Guy.

    • Hal Smith is best known for his role as town drunk Otis Campbell on The Andy Griffith Show. He would return in Undercover Dukes.

    • Denver Pyle (Uncle Jesse) becomes the first regular cast member to direct an episode of this series with this story. James Best (Rosco), Sorrell Booke (Boss), Tom Wopat (Luke), and John Schneider (Bo) all later went on to direct episodes. Pyle held the record, directing 11 episodes of the series in total.

    Trivia (1)

    • When Bo, Luke, and Henry are talking in the cemetery about what Boss Hogg is planning on doing, you can see in the background that one of the graves says "Ira Murchinson" on it. That's the same grave that the Dukes saw in a previous episode Duke of Duke.
