  • The TV show Earthworm Jim is based on a video game by the same name. As in the video game, our main character is Earthworm Jim, an annelid with a power suit. His best friend is Peter Puppy, a scared doggy, but when Peter gets mad... Let's say you do NOT wanna be in the vicinity. His love interest is the "beautiful" (whether she really is or not depends on whether you're a pro or anti) Princess Whats-Her-Name. The villians are the evil Psycrow (an evil, well, crow.), Evil The Cat (a cat who lives in Heck), Bob & #4 (a goldfish and his very big friend), Queen Pulsating, Bloated, Festering, Sweaty, Pus-Filled, Malformed, Slug-For-A-Butt and others. Our hero must do battle with these creatures, and while he does, he's a master of hilarious quotes. THEME SONG: EARTHWORM JIM! Through soil he did crawl EARTHWORM JIM! A supersuit did fall Jim was just a dirt-eating chewy link of worm flesh but all that came to a crashing end Ahahahahaaa... EARTHWORM JIM! He's such a groovy guy EARTHWORM JIM! I've gotta get a new side-kick, you understand, don't you? Peter: I understand. You're saying that I'm a worthless lump of gunk - garbage, filth, cesspool scrapings! Jim: Grrrreat, then, so long as you understand.

    • James Bond 007: Goldfinger

This scene where the evil Earthworm Jim captures and straps the real Earthworm Jim and Peter Puppy on the table when he activates the laser was a resemblence to the James Bond 007 film Goldfinger where this scene of the villain Auric Goldfinger where captures and tortures Bond by slicing him with the laser and Goldfinger's and Bond's famous quotes.

      James Bond 007:

"Did you expect me to talk?"

      Auric Goldfinger:

"No Mr. bond I've expect you to die!"

      Earthworm Jim:

"Did you expect me to talk?"

      Evil Earthworm Jim:

"No no Mr. Jim I've expect you to fry!"

    • Earthworm Mind-Meld:Star Trek At one point Earthworm Jim tried using the Earthworm Mind-Meld, which is exactly what Spock tries to do on various episodes of Star Trek.
