  • Trivia (1)

    • Kevin Tighe (Roy) directed this episode. Unfortunately, there are many "goofs". (1) After Squad 8 is dispatched and Gage and Stone go back into the kitchen, the squad can clearly be seen through the window of the door in the background. (2) At the construction site, the patient is flatlined before being put in the ambulance. Later, when Johnny asked Dr. Bracket (and again when Stone asked Johnny) the answer was that he was flatlined when he got to the hospital. It should not have seemed so shocking to either Johnny or Stone. (3) Upon arriving at the hospital with the construction worker, the stock footage contains the audio of Roy stating "Full arrest #4", which is incorrect as Roy wasn't even part of the rescue. (4) Johnny was working overtime on Engine 8 with Stone as the captain... this means that Johnny and Stone would not be on the same shift. Yet Captain Stone and Engine 8 respond with Squad 51 on the same shift with Johnny at the rescue with the boy with the tick and the fireworks factory fire. (5) At the fireworks factory fire, Squad 39 is called in to relive Squad 51. At the construction site, Squad 39 was the same model as Squad 51 (realizing they likely used the same squad and just re-numbered it for that rescue). However at the fire, the Squad 39 that shows up looks like it is about 20 years older. For consistency, the same older squad should have been used for the construction rescue as well.
