  • Episode Description
  • Dr. Banfield defends herself ably during a mugging. Dubenko returns to work, due in no small part to Brenner's organized protests. In return, Brenner asks a favor of Dubenko. A young gymnast comes into the ER with injuries consistent with a fall, but Banfield and Gates each think a different family member may actually be to blame. Sarah neglects to ask Gates' permission before getting her tongue pierced.

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (4)

    • (Gates is leaning against the desk, yawning) Banfield: Am I boring you, Dr. Gates? Gates: Oh, sorry. It's the 6 a.m. shift--my brain is here, but my body isn't.

    • (talking about a patient that asked Morris out) Morris: She's a call girl. (pause) Yeah, a whore, an escort. Sanchez: So, it's even better than I thought. (Morris walks away) We're all whores. You prescribe antibiotics from some drug companies that give you stethoscopes and free lunch. Whore!

    • Brenner: I'm not going to beg, but one day you are going to wake up next to me, and you are going to wonder, how did this happen? And I'm going to smile and remind you that I predicted this over coffees and chocolate glazed donuts. Neela: You are a cocky bastard. Brenner: Yeah, but I'd be a correct cocky bastard, and that's all that would matter.

    • Neela: (to Brenner) The awkward shag on a horrible day doesn't count as sleeping with you. It counts as poor judgement.

    Notes (3)

    • For the second time since ER began it's 15 year run, the main cast numbered the same (6) as it did when the series started out. The first time was in the Season 14 premiere, "The War Comes Home."

    • Molly Price (Mrs. O'Fallon) previously guest starred as a different character in the Season 8 episode "Brothers and Sisters."

    • Tara Karsian, who plays recurring character DCFS worker Liz Dade, is the real life daughter of Pat Carroll, who guest-starred as a character named Rebecca Chadwick in a Season 11 multi-episode story arc.
