  • show Description
  • What if you got the career break of a lifetime working in LA on a huge music video for MTV? That's what happened to six hopefuls from across the country. Thinking they were hired to work as production assistants on a multi-artist music video campaign, they instead find themselves Faking the Video! The whole shoot--the song, the crew, the artists--was a giant hoax designed to find out which of our PAs would endure the shoot-from-hell to get their big break. Every detail was planned and rehearsed by a team of improvisational actors who played the key crew members. Hidden cameras captured every twist and turn as our PAs were put to the test. In a process of elimination, the group unwittingly competed for a cash prize and a chance to work with famed music video director Wayne Isham.
