  • Quotes (13)

    • Lois: Come on everyone, lets sing a song. Chris: (Sings) Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot.

    • Meg: There's no factory? Stewie: Ha! Very good, fat man! We follow the Pied Piper of Hamsteak to the Gates of Oblivion, and look what it's brought us! We're finished! We're done! Game over, man! Game over!

    • Lois: Good-bye, sweet home. Maybe someday we'll return. Peter: Hey, Joe, can you keep an eye on the place? Joe: I might as well. I'm melted to the ground. Meg: (lays mousetraps around Joe) There you go, Mr. Swanson. These ought to keep the rats away. Joe: Thanks, hon. Stay in school! (Mutant rat walks up, slapping away traps) BRING IT ON!!

    • Peter: Let's go. Lois: Go where? If there's no food in Quahog, what make you think there's going to be food anywhere else? Peter: Lois, everyone knows that there are two things that can survive a nuclear holocaust: cockroaches and Twinkies, and there's a Twinkie factory in Natick. Lois: Twinkies? Peter: Yeah. I saw a story about them on A&E.

    • Stewie: Oh dear me, yes yes, this is how I wanted to enter the new millennium...locked in the basement with imbeciles dressed like a gay Neil Armstrong.

    Notes (1)

    • The title for this episode came from a promo that FOX was running at the time. The title is Jamaican slang for "The Best"

    Trivia (3)

    • After the citizens of New Quahog kick the Griffins out and slam the city gates, Brian is absent for several scenes. Only after they start walking down the road in a line does he return.

    • This is the first episode starring Mila Kunis as Meg.

    • The fight with the big chicken that we see in Peter's flashback actually continues during the Season Four episode "Blind Ambition."

    Allusions (7)

    • Gone With the Wind The scene in which the rising sun illuminate the undamaged twinkie factory is similar to a scene in this 1939 classic in which the rising moon reveals an undamaged Tara.

    • E.T. The Extra Terrestrial Chris: Oh my God, the government is here! Run, E.T., run! The suit Peter was wearing was similar to the suits the government officials were wearing while they were chasing E.T. in the classic film by the same name.

    • Family Feud Jorad: Show me potato salad! This is a reference to the catch phrase from the show Family Feud, during the round where the contestants would need to answer a question which 100 people were asked. If they answered with one of the most common answers, it would appear on the board after Richard Dawson (or any subsequent hosts) would call out, "Show me [given answer]!"

    • Trix Peter: No! Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids. This is a parody of an advert for the cereal Trix, where a white rabbit would try to get the breakfast ceral 'Trix' from the kids.

    • Contact Peter: No words... should have sent... a poet... A phrase spoken by Jodie Foster in the movie "Contact" (1997). Foster said this (albeit not verbatim) when she was transported through space via the machine and got a glimpse of a beautiful group of stars.
