    • Flash: (speaking to the canton leaders) My name is Flash Gordon. Some of you already know me; others may have heard my name, that I've fought against Ming. This is true. I know that the fight for freedom comes with great sacrifice; but I also know that Ming's rule has brought nothing but suffering and hardship to you and your people. And that he will someday bring it to mine, and this has to stop. I know one man that can do that for us. One man I trust. (motions to Terek) This is that man.
Terek: Esteemed canton leaders and representatives, my name is Terek. The days ahead will not be easy ones. But if we support each other, if we work together, I know that we can win. When I look out over your faces, Turin, and Dactyl, or Omadrians, Deviates, I see the future of Mongo staring back at me. A new Mongo. A free Mongo! Your Mongo!

    • Terek: There's no way we can win without you.
Flash: What are you talking about?
Terek: I've invited allies, emissaries from many cantons, but they won't be swayed by my words alone. A deviate, even a deviate king, is not fully trusted.
Flash: What do you want me to do?
Terek: Speak to the canton leaders for me. They respect your bravery; they'll trust you. You may not be the one prophesied, but this might be why you're here.
Flash: The reason I'm here was to find my father and take him home.
Terek: You're not home. And without your help, we'll never defeat that tyrant.
Flash: This won't be easy, Terek. Thousands could be hurt, lose their lives.
Terek: It's a risk I'm willing to take. So? What's your answer, Flash Gordon? Are you with me?
Flash: Whatever it takes. I'm with you, Terek.

    • Aura: Terek, I have news. Terek: What? Has Ming learned of the uprising? Aura: No. It's about our mother. I think I know who she is. It's Vestra. She denied it, but I confronted our father, and by his reaction... Terek: It's true. Aura: You knew? Terek: She couldn't speak of it to you. You'd be forfeit to a blood oath.

    • Aura: I know about my mother. She isn't dead, like you told me. It's Vestra. Ming: Who would tell you such a thing? Aura: The question is why didn't you tell me? But, then,I understood why... Vestra's bloodline is clean. That means my brother's deviate strain didn't come from her. It came from you. You are the deviate, father.

    • (After meeting Aura at the Deviate settlement and learning she is part of Terek's resistance) Rankol: What a curious development.
