  • Frasier wants to make a match with his match-maker, Charlotte, while her cute-but-clueless beau Frank keeps getting in the way.

  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (5)

    • (Frasier kisses Charlotte) Charlotte: Oh, God, I'm uncomfortable! Frasier: I'm sorry--I'm rushing things. Charlotte: (reaching behind a pillow) No, no, no--it's just I'm lying on a wine bottle! (they kiss again)

    • Frasier: I can't stand this ridiculous threesome anymore. You know, the worst part is how completely unthreatening Frank finds me, as if I'm some sort of a harem eunuch. Daphne: How'd he hurt himself, anyway? Frasier: Well, he strained his back carrying me over a brook.

    • Frasier: I'm merely going to present myself as the anti-Frank. Niles: Ah. So you're going to be not rugged and not handsome? Interesting.

    • Niles: What do you know about Irish plays? Frasier: Nothing. But not for long. There's one area where no man has ever bested me, Niles. Homework!

    • Frasier: Ah, Niles, Daphne. The opera tickets are right there. I'm sorry I can't use them myself. Niles: If you'd bought a third, you could take that couple you're dating.

    Notes (2)

    • Although the decor is different, Charlotte's apartment has the same layout as Roz's.

    • An episode of "Cheers" had a similar title, "And Coachie Makes Three".

    Trivia (2)

    • Daphne is impressed with Ronee's ring until she discovers it was the engagement ring Martin bought for Sherry. She should have recognized it, since in Season 5's "Ain't Nobody's Business If I Do" she was the one who found it in Martin's underwear drawer, leading to that episode's entire plot line.

    • Charlotte supposedly lives with her mother; however, in the previous episode, it looks like she lives alone. Also, she didn't have any money to pay Frasier back but she did have money to re-buy the business from her ex-husband.
