  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (1)

    • Roz: You went to bed with the prom queen? Frasier: Yes, and I woke up with Carrie.

    Notes (6)

    • When Roz and Frasier are talking in Nervosa in the beginning of the episode, you can see Roz is wearing a wedding ring. Presumably, this is Peri Gilpin's wedding ring which she left on by mistake.

    • International Episode Titles: Czech Republic: Frasier a stará láska (Frasier and the Old Love)

    • Jean Smart later starred in the NBC sitcom "In-Laws", which was created by former "Frasier" writer and producer Mark Riesman, and aired directly before and directly after "Frasier" at various times during the 2002-03 Season. Also Kelsey Grammer served as Executive Producer of "In-Laws" since it was produced by his production company "Grammnet Productions".

    • For her work in this episode, Jean Smart won a 2000 Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

    • Jean Smart makes her debut appearance as Lana, only here she is called Lorna. The name was changed due to legal reasons.

    Trivia (2)

    • Frasier tells Roz that there were two movie versions of Wuthering Heights. In reality, at the time this episode was filmed, there were three: the original 1939 version starring Laurence Olivier as Heathcliff, a 1970 version starring Timothy Dalton and a 1992 version starring Ralph Fiennes. There was also a 1998 TV movie made starring Robert Cavanah.

    • Of some interest is the resemblance between Jean Smart's characters name, Lorna Lynley, and that of actress Laura Linney, who would join the show in Season 11 as Frasier's true love.

    Allusions (1)

    • Frasier: "Yes, and I woke up with Carrie."
This is a reference to the 1976 classic horror film "Carrie" starring Sissy Spacek. In the movie she plays a teenager who snaps and kills everyone at her prom.
