Writer David Lloyd received the 2001 Laurel Award for Television from the Writers Guild of America. A lifetime achievement award, it honored his many contributions to Frasier, Cheers, Taxi, Mary Tyler Moore and other shows. This episode was the final script David Lloyd wrote for Frasier.
