    Trivia (2)

    • In the scene on the Caspian Queen, when Frasier hands Peter's business card to the Russians the dialogue between the two is best translated as: "He's had some business cards made." "What an idiot, eh!" Later when Frasier stipulates how much caviar he wants: "Get me another can."

    • Altough the French shopkeeper, Robert is the same as in Season 5's "The Perfect Guy", the layout of the store itself is completely different.

    Allusions (2)

    • Title Card: They Call Him Vlad The Importer This is a comic allusion to Vlad The Impaler, or Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia (1431-1476). He was also called Vlad Dracula or simply Dracula, and well known for the exceedingly cruel punishments he imposed during his reign. In the English-speaking world, Vlad III is perhaps most commonly known for inspiring the name of the vampire in Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula.

    • Title: Roe to Perdition
The title is a take-off from the 2002 gangster movie "Road to Perdition", about a hit man who is on the run with his son from dangerous people out to get them.
