Allusions (4)

  • Scene One Title: ANDY WARHOL SAID IT BEST This title refers to the statement made by Warhol in 1968 and reiterated in 1979 that "In the future, everyone will be famous for 15 minutes". • Scene Six Title: THE FAULT LIES NOT IN OUR STARS, BUT IN OURSELVES This title borrows a line from Shakespeare's Julius Caesar (spoken by Cassius): "The fault, dear Brutus, lies not in our stars, but in ourselves".

  • Scene Four Title: Citizen Crane This, of course, parodies the 1941 Orson Welles classic Citizen Kane.

  • Episode Title: The Candidate The episode title shares the same name as the 1972 film The Candidate.
