    • Monica: You know, I gotta admit that I was kinda surprised that you agreed to go on a blind date. Jean-Claude Van Damme: Normally I would not do it. Monica: Well, what made you make the exception for me? Jean-Claude Van Damme: 'Cause Rachel told me you were dying to have a threesome with me and Drew Barrymore. Oh, by the way, Drew has some ground rules.

    • Susie: All right mister, let's see those panties. Chandler: All right. (Chandler's pants drop from under the bathroom stall door) Susie: Ooh. Ooh. But you know what would be even sexier? Chandler: What? Susie: If you didn't have your shirt tucked into them.

    • Susie: (About wearing her panties) How you doing there squirmy? Chandler: I'm hanging in... and a little out.

    • Ross: Hey Joey, I have to cancel racquetball for tonight. That was Marcel's trainer. He's gonna let me have him for a couple of hours. Joey: You're blowing me off for a monkey? Ross: Hey, we can reschedule for Saturday. Joey: Yeah, unless you hook up with a bunch of pigeons.

    • Chandler: No, Stephen Hurs was the kid who would eat anything for money, David Stein was the guy who had no elbows. Susie: Okay, well then who was the kid that got caught masturbating? Chandler: (Defending himself) Okay, that's not what he was doing. Alright, he was looking for his bus money.

    Trivia (7)

    • Continuity: When Susie Moss takes all of Chandler's clothes, she would have also taken his wallet (containing his aging condom), ID, money and keys. This fact is never dealt with in this or subsequent episodes.

    • Goof: This episode takes place in New York in January. In all the outdoor scenes, everyone, including Chandler, is wearing a winter coat. Chandler's, in particular, is a black, knee-length topcoat. He was not wearing it when he followed Susie Moss to the washroom which means it would still be in the restaurant coat-check. Ross or Joey could have simply brought him his topcoat; it would not have been necessary for him to leave the washroom wearing only panties (of course, that would have robbed us of a classic Friends moment: Chandler leaving the restaurant wearing a washroom stall door). In the final scene of the episode where Phoebe asks Chandler if she can borrow his "G-string", we see that he is still wearing that same black topcoat.

    • Goof: Monica and Rachel get into a fight and Phoebe breaks it up. Later that night Monica goes out with Jean-Claude Van Damme. In the next fight scene, all three girls are wearing the same clothes again.

    • Goof: When Chandler leaves the restaurant carrying the door from the bathroom stall, a glimpse of clothing, possibly a pair of shorts, is seen as he maneuvers the door through the tables. This is despite the fact he is supposed to be naked except for a hot pink thong.

    • Trivia: During the Ross and Marcel goodbye scene at the limo, the music heard is a slow version of the chorus of the Friends theme song "I'll be There for You."

    Allusions (7)

    • In the bathroom at the restaurant Joey and Chandler whistle "Buffalo Gals" an American folk song.

    • Monica: I can't believe this. Just like two weeks ago, I was watching Sudden Death and now I'm on a date with Jean-Claude Van Damme. Sudden Death is a film, starring Jean-Claude Van Damme, about a disgraced former fireman who takes on a group of terrorists holding the Vice President and others hostage during the seventh game of the NHL Stanley Cup finals.

    • Susie: Somebody's been doing his Buns of Steel video. Buns of Steel is a popular workout video series.

    • Ross: (To Marcel) Look who I brought! It's your old friend Harry Elefante. This refers to Harry Belafonte, an African-American musician, actor, and radical social activist of Jamaican ancestry.

    • Rachel: And that's where we hung out with Drew Berrymore. Drew Barrymore is an American actress and film producer.
