  • Episode Description
  • Joey is nominated for a Soapie Award, and will go to any length to get the award. One of Ross's students convinces him that he failed his midterm because he's in love with Ross. When a guy hits on Phoebe instead of her, Monica realizes that Chandler is the last person she will ever kiss, sleep with, and so on.

    • In this episode Phoebe pretended she was the host of Saturday Night Live. Actually, Lisa Kudrow hosted Saturday Night Live in 1996.

    • Alison Sweeney guest stars as Jessica Ashley on this fictional version of Days of our Lives. Actually, Alison Sweeney plays Sami Brady on the real Days of our Lives.

    • This episode runs 24:12 on DVD (a typical sitcom runs about 22:00). There's extra scenes at the beginning of the show in the coffee house, with Rachel talking about Monica's cake for the party and an extra scene at the end where the second student tries to kiss Ross.

    • Goof: When Phoebe tries to show Monica her hickey, she rebuttons her shirt as Monica walks across the kitcen. However, when the camera angle changes back to Phoebe, she is holding a bowl of food, although she did not have time to pick it up.

    • Goof: When Lewis, the second student who says he's in love with Ross, tries to kiss Ross to prove it, part of what was written on the blackboard it is not there anymore. (This scene can be only seen on the DVD.)

    • Goof: When Joey tells Rachel, "If I can't have it, you can't have it" the award moves on the counter in between shots.

    • Goof: When Rachel tells Joey that he doesn't want to win an award that way, he is holding the Soapie with both hands. When the camera angle changes, he is holding it with one hand and the other is behind the award.
