  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (13)

    • Rachel: We were paying for the stuff, and the salesgirl just started hitting on him! Can you believe that? Phoebe: Well, did she know you two aren't married? Rachel: Yeah. Phoebe: Oh, my God! The idea of a woman flirting with an unmarried man? We must alert the church elders!

    • Rachel: (About Katie) I don't want you to date her! Ross: What? Why ? Are you jealous? Rachel: Yes! And not because I want you to go out with me, but because I don't want you to go out with anybody! Okay? I know it's a terrible thing to even think this, and it's completely inappropriate, but I want you to be at my constant beck and call 24 hours a day! I'm very sorry, but that is just the way that I feel. Ross: Okay. Rachel: What? Ross: I won't date. I'll uh, I'll be here, with you, all the time. Rachel: Really? But I'm being so unreasonable. Ross: True, but you're allowed to be unreasonable. You're having our baby.

    • Chandler: I can't even believe this! I really come off that badly? Phoebe: It's okay, you calm down after a while and then people can see how really sweet and wonderful you really are. Chandler: Oh good. Good, because I'm sure this interview is gonna last a couple of weeks. Phoebe: All right, don't freak out! Okay? I-I will help you. How long before you have to leave? Chandler: An hour. Phoebe: I can't help you.

    • Rachel: All this stuff takes up a lot of room. Hey how uh, how serious are you about keeping Ben in your life? Ross: My son? Pretty serious.

    • Phoebe: How did baby shopping go? Rachel: Oh, it was great. We got everything that we needed. Oh, and Ross almost got something that wasn't on the list. A whore.

    Notes (3)

    • International Episode Title: France: Celui qui passait un entretien d'embauche (The One Who Had A Job Interview)

    • Executive producer, Kevin Bright, makes a cameo. He is the teacher of the acting class.

    • This episode runs 23:03 on DVD (a typical sitcom runs about 22:00).

    Trivia (4)

    • Goof: A microphone is visible above Rachel right after she says "Hey, you're back from your date!"

    • Trivia: This episode mirrors "The One with Joey's Interview", two episodes earlier. Both episodes involve an interview in which it is feared that the one being interviewed (Joey/Chandler) will screw up simply by being himself. In both cases, although they manage to get through the interviews successfully, immediately afterward, they screw up anyway.

    • Goof: When Rachel plays with the dinosaur toys, she's near to the walls in the back part of the apartment. In the next scene, when she wishes they have a good time, she's standing behind the couch with no time to walk there.

    • Goof: When Monica and Joey enter the cooking class, the teacher walks by them. When the camera angle changes, the teacher walks by them again.

    Allusions (1)

    • Katie: A paleontologist who works out, you're like Indiana Jones. Ross: I am like Indiana Jones. Indiana Jones is a fictional adventurer, professor of archaeology, and the main protagonist of the Indiana Jones franchise created by George Lucas. Four rather successful movies have been released so far, all starring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones and directed by Steven Spielberg.
