  • Quotes (9)

    • Emily: Ross, I'm having a great time. Your sister was just telling me that you used to dress up like little old ladies and host make-believe tea parties! Ross: Did she tell you how she was partially responsible for legislation regulating the strength of swing sets?

    • Joey: All right look, ya know how, ya know how when you’re dating someone and you don’t want to cheat on them, unless it’s with someone really hot? Phoebe: Yeah, totally!

    • Phoebe: (Looking for something to eat) God! Ooh! What is that smell? It’s coming from the bathroom. Ooh! Chandler: Wow! Pregnancy does give you some weird cravings.

    • Joey: There was this scene in Footloose-- Chandler: Flashdance. Joey: Yeah, yeah. With that plumber girl-- Chandler: She was a welder. Joey: What were you, like, in the movie?

    • Ross: What picture was she looking at? Rachel: I don't know, you and a bunch of albino kids. Ross: Albino kids...? No, that wasn't albino kids, that was computer camp!

    Trivia (5)

    • Goof: After Rachel chokes while trying to seduce Joshua with a cherry, Joshua goes to pat her with his right hand, in which you can clearly see he is holding a bottle. However when the angle changes, he is holding a cup in his right hand and now picks up the bottle from the table with his left hand.

    • Goof: When Rachel is sitting in the hall convincing Ross to go back inside, she has her left leg crossed behind her right leg. When the camera angle changes, her upper body is still twisted, indicating that she hasn't move, but her legs aren't crossed anymore.

    • Continuity: Phoebe tells Joey that her "cool, pregnant lady glow" is from throwing up all morning. However, two episodes earlier in "The One with Joey's Dirty Day," Phoebe clearly states that she gets her morning sickness in the evening.

    • Continuity: Rachel’s year of birth is inconsistent. Her 30th birthday in "The One Where They All Turn Thirty" (2001) implies that Rachel was born in 1971. However, her 29th birthday in "The One Where Rachel Smokes" (1999) implies that she was born in 1970. Also, Rachel says she is 28 in "The One with the Fake Party" (1998) implying she was born in 1970. But 15 months earlier in "The One Where Rachel Quits" (1996) Chandler says Rachel is 28, implying she was born in 1968.

    • Magna Doodle: Joey eats little v (Ross is interrupted while writing by Rachel) Magna Doodle: Emily ... Bon Voy (with Bon Voy crossed out) see ya

    Allusions (2)

    • Monica: (To Chandler who is talking in an English accent) Hey, Ringo. Monica was referring to Ringo Starr, an English musician, singer, and actor, best known as the drummer of The Beatles.

    • Joey: There was this scene in Footloose-- Chandler: Flashdance. Footloose is a 1984 movie starring Kevin Bacon and Lori Singer about dancing being banned in a Midwestern town and the arrival of a rebellious teenager who is determined to shake things up. Flashdance is a 1983 film about a female welder who works as an exotic dancer by night.
