  • Quotes (6)

    • Broyles: Is he okay? Peter: Well, he's Walter. Define "okay."

    • Astrid: (as Walter removes Mitch's brain from his skull) That sound creeps me out. Walter: Really? I always found it oddly comforting. Oh, that's very good, dear. Have you ever worked behind a deli counter? Astrid: Walter, your tie. I, uh... I think you have a little bit of brain on it.

    • Walter: (quoting William Bell) "Only those that risk going too far can possibly know how far they can go."

    • Astrid: So we're looking for some kind of deadly music box? Peter: No, it's ultrasonic, so you wouldn't be able to hear it. The frequency's too high. Walter: Silent but deadly. Speaking of which, might like to take a step away. Peter: Delightful, Walter.

    • Walter: Kent Street. I frequented a massage parlor just around the corner. I used to get off right here. Peter: I sure hope you're talking about the station, Walter.

    Allusions (2)

    • Walter: Reminds me of Monet's Water Lillies. Claude Monet was a French impressionist painter. Water Lilies is a series of his paintings. The reflections of the water lilies on the water aren't an observation of sunlight, but symbolize Monet's loving relationship he had with Alice Hoschede.

    • Walter: But we are yet to find our Rosebud. Referencing the classic 1941 black-and-white movie Citizen Kane in which Orson Wells' character, Charles Foster Kane, utters the single word, "Rosebud," before passing away.
