Fry eats an egg salad sandwich from the gas station that has parasites and they go inside Fry so the Planet Express crew (except for Leela) shrink down and go inside Fry's body
I thought that this was an excellent episode of "Futurama". It had a very good plot, everything in this episode was original and had some awesome action-packed scenes. I also loved the Fry/Leela relationship in this episode. Fry, Leela, and Bender go to the gas station to give their spaceship some gas. Fry goes uses the restroom and sees that you can get an egg-salad sandwich for 25 cents so he gets the egg salad sandwich from the gas station. Fry eats the egg salad sandwich that happens to have parasites inside the sandwich and the parasites go inside Fry's body. Professor Farnsworth tells the crew that they need to get rid of the parasites inside Fry's body so the Planet Express crew (except for Leela) go inside Fry's body while Leela needs to distract Fry so he doesn't know about the mission. Fry revealing his feelings for Leela was really good. Fry wondering if it's him that does the romance on his own or the parasites so Fry goes inside his own body to tell the parasites to leave his body. Fry is back to his not-so-romantic self again with Leela making Fry leave her apartment. There were some very funny parts in this episode. Hermes' line "He could be smarter than Cher" was hilarious. Bender's part throughout this entire episode was hilarious especially with his running line "Abandon Ship". Although, I kinda didn't like the ending because Fry lost Leela. Overall, an excellent episode of "Futurama" with a kinda crappy ending. 10/10moreless
What happens if you eat gas station food.
A very good episode with clever writing and a unique storyline. The entire episode was brilliant, and I loved the romance with Leela and Fry, as I always do, of course. The adventure inside of Fry's body was excellent. I enjoyed the episode from start (the theme song) to finish (the end credits, of course). I recommend this episode to anyone who likes the show, and who enjoys the relationship between Fry and Leela.

This is a hillarious and action packed episode.
This episode blends action like the battle with the worms inside inside of Fry and hillarious parts like when Fry was trying to stand up for Leela but he ended up saying the wrong things like she's got as much meat as a cow and it was very funny when the crew was inside of Fry and Zoidberg came out of knowhere riding one of the worms. Also it was very funny when Zoidberg said open up and Fry opened his mouth and Zoidberg said guess again. Overall an episode that shows how good Futurama is and I will watch many more times.moreless
Fry gets worms
Fry, Leela, and Bender have stopped at a truck stop to clean the ship and get a few things. Fry goes to the restroom and buys a sandwich from a machine in the restroom. He eats the sandwich and becomes infected with worms, unbeknown to him. After they get back to the office, Fry and Bender go down to the basement to fix the boiler. It winds up blowing up and a pipe is run through Fry. While Dr. Zoidberg is examining Fry, the pipe is cut from inside Fry and his body repairs itself. The professor thinks he knows what it might be....moreless
loved this episode. The plot was amazing. For the first time in his life Fry is actually smart. I like how the parasites give him a make over. Fry becomes smarter and stronger. I thought that was never gonna happen. Also Lila started to like him, after he the one guy's butt. It was pretty cool how he played that instrument for Lila . A coole part was when the crew went inside Fry's body, and then they were destroyed by Lila. The thing I did not like about this episode was that Fry got ride of the parasites even though he new they were helping him. If I had been Fry I would have kept the parasites. Over all the episode was great.moreless
A good episode to say the least.
While making a pit stop at an interstellar truck stop, Fry buys and eats an egg salad sandwich from a vending machine in the restroom. On returning to Earth, Fry and Bender are assigned the task of fixing the plasma fusion boiler, which promptly explodes. Bender is not damaged, but Fry is impaled by a large pipe. Fry's damaged body repairs itself in seconds and the crew discovers that Fry is infested with microscopic worms.
To eliminate the infestation, Professor Farnsworth makes miniature robotic versions of the crew, except for Fry and Leela. Because the worms would defend themselves if they knew about the mission, Leela is assigned to distract Fry. Controlling the micro-droids using virtual reality gear, the crew board a miniature Planet Express ship, and enter Fry's ear. Throughout the travel, the crew discover that the worms were making Fry's intelligence and strength greater than before.
The crew make their way into Fry's bowel, and fight their way to the pelvic splanchnic ganglion, intending to cause a massive bowel movement to expel the worm society. Meanwhile, Leela is enchanted by the now intelligent and muscular Fry. He then reveals that he loves her but only recently was he able to articulate his thoughts. She realizes that the worms are responsible for this, and sets out to stop the Professor. Her micro-droid reaches the nerve, and hacks the rest of the micro-droid crew to pieces with an axe. The Professor tells her that the worms will burrow so deep into Fry's body, he'll be stuck with them forever.
Fry is informed of what has been happening, but is more interested in romancing Leela than clearing the worms out of his body. Leela tells Fry that she loves the new him. Worried, Fry tells her that he needs to find out something, leaves, and using his own micro-droid, enters his own body.
When Fry meets with the worm leader, he blackmails the worms into leaving by threatening to kill himself. With the worms gone, Fry returns to Leela's apartment, intent on finding out if Leela can love him as he is. Fry explains to Leela about the worms, and his decision to dispose of them. His awkward attempts at being romantic end when he mentions having sex with Amy Wong. The next scene is him being thrown out. Back at his apartment, Fry begins to re-learn the Holophonor, starting with a crude image of Leela.moreless
This ep begins the largely excellent third production series, and, like all the best episodes of this show, it balances humour and emotion perfectly. Season 2 was hilarious, but was mostly just jokes, and season 4 has a tendency to go overboard with the drama, but stuff like this is just right. Fry's unfortunate confrontation with Sal was funny, and the entire storyline with the crew inside Fry's body was just hilarious, and kind of gross. The Fry and Leela scenes, meanwhile, were just excellent, Fry's polophoner dreamscape was absolutely beautiful. The whole thing was just brilliantly put together and flowed wonderfully between the two plotlines, with lots of nice touches (Leela's apartment and 'True Stories of Corageous Animals'). Truly funny jokes throughout as well (Zoidberg and the sperm being one of the best), and a great ending. Near perfect.moreless
Fry wins Leela's heart only to loose it shortly after.
After eating a sandwich at a truckstop purchased from a mens room toilet, Fry is infected with worms. But these worms are far from normal and they transform Fry's mind and body into tip top condition. The Planet Express Crew launch a mission to rid Fry's body of the parasites and have Leela spend time with him to distract him from the mission. Leela falls for the new Fry, impressed by his new found eloquence and sets out to ensure that the mission to destroy the parasites fails.
Leela succeeds in her mission but Fry fears that Leela loves the parasites and not him. Fry forces the parasites to leave and he returns back to his normal self, only to have Leela no longer intersted in him.moreless
