  • Quotes (13)

    • Melinda: Is Harold glad to have his missing body back? Jim: He is. And he didn't even ask why the dead guy was wearing a suit.

    • Melinda: I thought you said you saw the light! Jason: Yeah I think that was actually the street lamp behind you, it's giving you a bit of a weird glow. Made you look like an angel.

    • Professor Payne: Uh, we've only been talking for three minutes, give me at least eight to nine minutes to unravel the whole mystery.

    • Harold: Tell me this is a prank or a dream! I'll accept either one. Jim: Harold, how do you lose a body? Harold: My boss wants to know the same thing. It's going to be my ass if I don't come up with an explanation.

    • Jim (to Tim): At least you realize you're a moron. That's a good first step.

    • The song at the end of the episode is "Human" by Jon McLaughlin. This episode also features Goldfrapp's song "Ooh La La".

    • The search engine that Melinda uses to find out information on Grandview High Alumni is called "Penthius". It doesn't actually exist as a website search engine but has been used before in Ghost Whisperer S2 Ep1 "Love Never Dies".

    • Jamie Bamber Battlestar Galactica guest stars as Bryan Curtis

    Trivia (6)

    • In the scene with the bloody footprints, just after Melinda has arrived, Jim points to the set of footprints and says "The middle toe is missing on the right foot." However, he points to a left foot with a missing middle toe. When we were shown the corpse, the middle toe on the right foot was missing, and most of the other footprints in that scene had the missing toe only on the right foot.

    • In the last scene, Delia makes it across the street and to the table way too fast.

    • Muscular Dystrophy Muscular Dystrophy, or MD, refers to a group of genetic, hereditary muscle diseases that cause progressive muscle weakness. There are over 100 different forms of muscular dystrophy.

    • Brian's body broke his leg below the knee when jumping over the fence. Even if the ghost in his body can't feel the pain, he couldn't get up and run away on it without losing his balance and falling down again.

    • Jason's list that Melinda gives Alyssa reads as follows: *Return from dead (Crossed off) *Stage dive *Joyride in Ferrari *Mom & Dad? (Crossed off) *Lick doorknobs at Republican Committee Bldg. (Crossed off) *Ring bells at Vatican *Find Alyssa at reunion *Tell her never to give up her dreams

    Allusions (3)

    • Melinda: Can't I get that at the 99 cent store? Payne: You could. I got mine at Bed, Bath and Voodoo. Melinda is alluding to a chain of price-point retailer stores where everything is for sale under a dollar. Payne is punning the chain called Bed, Bath and Beyond where they sell just about everything you need for your home.

    • Payne: What do you know about Voodoo? Voodoo is a name attributed to a traditionally West African spiritual system of faith and ritual practices. Like most faith systems, the core functions of Voodoo are to explain the forces of the universe, influence those forces, and influence human behavior. It has even been rumored to reanimate dead bodies.

    • Melinda: Dead Man Walking This is an allusion to men who are on Death Row walking around. The 1995 movie of the same name, with Sean Penn and Susan Sarandon, is about this. It has also been associated with zombies, in this case.
