  • Episode Description
  • "The Ham-Ham Games" Prince Bo sends the ham-hams on an important mission: to carry the ever-lasting hamtorch to Hamcropolis. His fans, the Rainbow Girls, become jealous and try to steal away the torch, not knowing that Prince Bo had another important job for them. The ham-hams get help from friends new and old as they try to make their way to Hamcropolis while avoiding the pesky flying Rainbow Girls. Along the way, Hamtaro shares both the flame and the spirit of friendship. "The Ham-Hams Rescue Stan" The remainder of the special consists an edited version of "Clubhouse Intruders" in which the ham-hams must rescue Stan after he skips an earthquake drill and ends up trapped inside the clubhouse with hostile chicky-chickies. All content involving the human characters is removed.moreless

    Notes (12)

    • This episode featured almost all the characters from the video game "Ham-Ham Games."

    • The YTV airing had closings after Part 1 and Part 2. At the end of Part 1, there are different pictures in the background of the closing. In Part 2 of the special, when they play the theme song, it is shortened. In the second picture of the ending theme song, their is a hamster that looks remarkably like a young Auntie Viv and Stuckey also appeared in the new pictures. Boss was animated twice in the last picture.

    • Sparkle, Pepper, and Auntie Viv can be seen walking across the rainbow to Hamcropolis.

    • This episode was aired with close-captioning on YTV, but not on Cartoon Network. In closed-captioning, Sabu is spelled Zaboo and Francois is spelled Francoise. Also, Rainbow Girls has a lower case g, making it Rainbow girls.

    • Cartoon Network followed the special with four repeat episodes of Hamtaro as part of their "Saturday Block Party." For the first time ever, episodes of Hamtaro aired on Cartoon Network with close-captioning. Cartoon Network had originally planned to air "Clubhouse Intruders" during this block, but decided to remove it, most likely because it would be redundant after "The Ham-Hams Rescue Stan." Instead, " How To Rescue a Wedding" was added into the rotation.

    Trivia (6)

    • Bijou calls the captain of the Pirate Team 'Captain Hamcook' in the game his name is Captain Hamstern.

    • After The Rainbow Girls steal the Torch from Hamtaro and jump into the tree. If you have a really quick eye you will see that both Daisy and Ivy have green hair. (Daisy's hair is supposed to be yellow)

    • At one point, the ham-hams all say "Hamcropolis" and Penelope's mouth moves as if she's saying it too.

    • When Hamtaro tries lighting the ship's boiler with the everlasting torch, the torch goes out when Hamtaro stumbles backward. In the next scene, the torch is lit again.

    • The ham-hams got the number of years, 8686, wrong several times. (They would say 3186 and 1386.)
