    • Ezra: Miss Parker, do you have a favorite nut? Audrey: Excuse me? Duke: He means other than Nathan.

    • Nathan: It's password protected. Come on, Parker, where's the trust? Chief Wournos: He's trying to hack into her personal files and he's worried about trust issues.

    • Julia: Just how did you meet these fine gentlemen? Duke: A friend introduced us. He said they like to play poker. Julia: Did he also say they like to kidnap their opponents and drag them out to the open sea? Duke: I'm picking up on your sarcasm.

    • Julia: So this is who you are now. I used to think you were the coolest guy. Turns out you're just a petty crook. Duke: No. I'm an exceptionable crook. Julia: You're a delivery boy.

    • Agent Howard: We're dealing with killer and terrorist in the real world, while you're here holding hands with the "Children of the Corn." Audrey: At least I'm not like that one guy you trained that was chasing aliens, what was his name? Agent Howard: Hey, he was a genius. What happened to him in the last few years was a tragedy, but that's besides the point.

    Notes (5)

    • Injoke: Agent Howard and Audrey talking about the "one guy he trained that was chasing aliens" is a reference to fictional FBI agent Fox Mulder, from the TV series The X-Files.

    • Injoke: Little Tall Island is referenced repeatedly. The island appears in several Stephen King stories, including Dolores Claiborne and Storm of the Century.

    • Injoke: A copy of Stephen King's The Tommyknockers can be seen on the shelf concealing the secret panel out of his stateroom. The city in which much of the plot of the novel takes place is in fact Haven, Maine, although the town and its "troubles" are portrayed much differently in the show.

    • Injoke: Agent Howard refers to "Children of the Corn," a short story by series creator Stephen King.

    Allusions (1)

    • Duke: I got moves that Ralph Macchio, the Karate Kid himself, never dreamed of.
Referencing the 1984 movie with Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, a high school student who learns martial arts from an elderly Japanese man, Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita), so that he can deal with bullies. The movie inspired three sequels and a remake in 2010.
