    • Al Eben gets his first credit for the recurring role of Doc (Bergman), but he doesn't actually appear in this episode.

    • Herman Wedemeyer and Moe Keale (credited as Wilfred Keale) appear as guest stars in this episode. Beginning with "Death is a Company Policy" at the beginning of Season Five, Wedemeyer played Edward "Duke" Lukela on a recurring basis for four seasons. In Season Nine, he joined the main cast, while continuing to appear as Duke. Moe Keale joined the main cast in Season Twelve as Detective Truck Kealoha, beginning with the first episode of that season, "A Lion in the Streets (1)."
