    • Mako (Kazuo) and Haunani Minn (Kim) would reunite four years later in the M*A*S*H episode "Guerilla My Dreams," in which Mako played a South Korean officer who captures an enemy guerilla (Minn). 

    • The official syndication number for this episode is 7516.

    • Lew Ayres made his final appearance on the show in this episode. He played the Governor in the 2-hour pilot "Cocoon" and Dr. Elias Haig in the Season 6 episode "Anybody Can Build a Bomb."

    Trivia (2)

    • Danny pronounces the name of one of Din Lee's "goons" Regan as "Ree-gan" but McGarrett in his conversation with Din Lee calls him "Ray-gan."

    • At the end of the episode Commander Blackwell and McGarrett discuss whether the governor would approve of Blackwell's actions.  Lew Ayres, who portrayed Blackwell, had also played the governor in the series pilot more than seven years before.
