  • Episode Description
  • Chef Ramsay announces to the aspiring chefs that Hell's Kitchen will be hosting the Beverly Hills High School Prom with a theme of "Old Hollywood." The chefs have a video chat with the prom committee and are challenged to prepare a menu of one appetizer and two entrees. One team earns the first ever Hell's Kitchen blowout victory and is rewarded with a day at an amusement park. The losing team is turned over to the prom committee to transform Hell's Kitchen for the prom, but are not at all happy about it, leading to some of the chefs giving the committee lip and attitude. At dinner service, Chef Ramsay tells the chefs that he wants them running like a machine, but it turns out to be anything but. Despite these issues, both teams do complete service and a losing team is declared. Additionally, Chef Ramsay singles out one chef whom he felt displayed excellent leadership qualities.moreless

    • Russell: (in an interview segment) I'm riding this bitch till the end. So step back and let daddy take control because I'm not playin' games no more. I'm here to ****ing win the cash and win the spot. Chef Ramsay: (sighs) Like everyone in Hell's Kitchen, Emily started at the bottom. Unfortunately, she stayed there.

    • Emily: (in her exit interview) I'm not ready to go home, but if Chef Ramsay can't see my skill, that's his loss. He can go yell at somebody else tomorrow.

    • Chef Ramsay: I can't teach common sense. I'm not here for that.

    • Sabrina: (in an interview segment) They want to send me up every elimination? Well, guess what, bitches. It just blew up in your ****ing faces.

    • Nona: (in an interview segment) Sabrina's clueless about everything. With everything. It's an absolute insult that Sabrina gets to nominate people. I just... ugh.

    Trivia (2)

    • Rewards Challenge: For this challenge, the teams had to prepare dishes for a possible menu to be served at a Hell's Kitchen prom. Both teams had to prepare one appetizer and two entrees. Reward / Punishment: For the first time ever, it was a shutout. The Red Team won with both their appetizer and their first entree. Even though the victory had already been sealed, Chef Ramsay asked that the second entree be tasted as well and that one also favored the Red Team. For winning, the Red Team got to enjoy a day at Knott's Berry Farm. For losing, the Blue Team had to transform Hell's Kitchen for a prom.

    • Nominees for Elimination: The Blue Team won the dinner service, and Chef Ramsay declared Sabrina to be the best of the worst for the Red Team. She nominated Melissa for drawing negative attention to herself in every service and Emily for obviously being in way over her head. Eliminated: Having noticed some annoyance from Nona when he declared Sabrina to be the best of the worst, he asked Nona who she thought should go home. She said that she felt that Emily was "not there." Chef Ramsay agreed and told Emily to take off her jacket.
