  • When Hiro stops time in order to see the murderer's face, Ando's mouth is open. Then, when the camera comes back to Ando again, his mouth is closed.

  • In the scene when Bob is talking to Claire in the football field at school. When Claire runs away from Bob, we can see three shadows, Bob's, Claire's and the cameraman who shot the scene.

  • When Noah and West arrive at the house to find Sandra tied up, her hands are behind the chair in the long shot, but in the next close up you can briefly see that her hands are free, and sitting on her lap.

  • Goof: When West take off with Claire, they are flying toward the Sun but on the next shot, we see Mohinder looking up in the wrong direction according to his own shadow.

  • Elle is drinking a "Slusho" as she is waiting for Mr. Bennet to arrive. Slusho is a fictional drink created by JJ Abrams for his series Alias. The director of this episode has also directed two episodes of that show which explains its appearance here. Slusho was also the temporary name of JJ Abrams' 2008 monster movie Project: Cloverfield (in which Greg Grunberg who plays Matt Parkman has a part).

  • Goof: In the faraway shot when Elle directs her electric blast on West when he's flying with Claire, they begin to drop downward. But in the closeup shot afterward, they're still going upward before West is zapped prior to their dropping down.

  • The ending scene, in which Noah Bennet awakes from death, is reminiscent of the final scene of One Giant Leap (Season 1, Episode 3), in which Claire is similarly revived in a morgue and reacts with the exact same statement as Noah does here.

  • In the supposed Costa Verde scenes you can see the backgrounds of Santa Monica where some of the scenes were shot, like the rides at Pacific Park Amusement Park.

Allusions (1)

  • Elle: Hey Fight Club, check this out! This is a reference to the movie Fight Club (1999) staring Brad Pitt and Edward Norton. Elle says it because Mohinder, like the main character of that movie, is beaten up and has a broken nose.
