    • Peter: My name is Peter Brady. For some time now, I have been engaged in highly secret experiments designed to bring about a great step forward in Man's conquest of space and matter. Here in my lab working night and day, I've been prying into the mysteries of the future. Only a few hours ago, I felt there were secrets that would never be known to us here on Earth. And then, suddenly in the midst of routine experiments, a strange and unpredicted event took place. Whether a mistake or the natural conclusion of the experiment, I cannot say. I can say is what happened is one of the most fantastic experiences in our modern day.

    • Sally: Uncle Peter, what happened to your face?
Peter: I'll tell you, darling. You remember our old story about the king and the magic hat? You remember what happened when he put on his magic hat?
      Sally: Nobody could see him.
Peter: Right. Well, your Uncle Peter has invented a magic hat and you can't see him.

    • Sally: Can I touch?
Peter: Come on. See? Same old Uncle Peter.
Sally: Ooh, you need a shave.
Peter: Yes, but I don't think anyone's going to notice, do you?

    • Crompton: This morning, Dr. Brady, thanks to an fantastic accident, you have inherited the earth!
      Peter: I don't get it.
Crompton: I'll give it to you in a word. Power. As long as you remain invisible, no door can ever be closed to you. Neither the vaults of the Bank of England or the Prime Minister's private office. All you have to do is take, Dr. Brady. Money, power. It's all yours for the taking. Now do you understand?

    • Hanning: Very well. I'll see you at work in the morning.
      Peter: No, chief.
      Hanning: But you said...?
Peter: I'll be there, but you won't see me.

    • Peter: (preparing to parachute) Here we are. You know, I've never done this before.
Warren: Oh, there's nothing to it.
Peter: I may be invisible but I bump just as hard.

    • Sally: Why do you keep on shaving?
Peter: Why does any man shave? To keep his face feeling clean.
Sally: It's a waste of time when it doesn't show.

    • Sally: Why don't you use a man?
Peter: Well, that would be taking too much of a risk. Besides, I can't imagine getting any volunteers.
Sally: I'd volunteer. I'd love to be invisible.
Peter: Not if I know it. One freak in the family is enough.
