  • Trivia & Quotes
  • Quotes (4)

    • After Hogan sabotages a German rocket and it explodes near Burkhalter's home, Hogan utters the final line of the series
Hogan: Frankly, General, I thought it was a lousy neighborhood anyway.

    • Hogan: They're liable to bomb this camp if you don't move that rocket. Burkhalter: I am not afraid! Hogan: That's because you live off the base.

    • Klink: That is exactly what I was going to say, General. Burkhalter: Klink, stop agreeing with me; you are undermining my confidence.

    • Carter: There's only one man for this job -- me. Newkirk: Why you? Carter: Well, because! This mission requires a man who's resourceful, courageous, and ingenious. Newkirk: That's what I said: why you?

    Notes (2)

    • This episode appears fourth on the VHS collection's "Camp Casanovas" volume.

    • CBS aired this, the series finale, a month before most of its other series wrapped up their seasons. "Hogan's Heroes" was to become a victim of the network's massive overhaul for the 1971-72 season. (Other casualties included "The Beverly Hillbillies," and "The Ed Sullivan Show.")

    Trivia (1)

    • When Hogan meets Frankel at the lookout, he is surprised to find she is a woman. He shouldn't be, though, as they'd worked together before in "Six Lessons from Madame LaGrange."
